Eu: ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Umm… obrigado? (Pensando: Nossa, os brasileiros são MUITO hospitaleiros!!!)

Vóvó: Nunca comeu vagem?

Eu: Ohhhhhh.

• a cerveja é GELADA. quase CONGELADA.
• o povo daqui é gente fina
• se você viajar para algum lugar de carro, você  vai se  sentir muito bem quando chegar (porque está vivo ainda)
• ninguém deixa gorjeta, e ninguém espera, caramba.

It bugs me that now that every newspaper on the planet has an RSS or Atom feed, just about any search on a “blog” search engine about a newsworthy topic will turn up mostly newspapers.

On the one hand, that’s great, because I can find news articles. On the other hand, that can be annoying, because I like blogs because they’re NOT newspapers.

Of course, you also have to deal with the fact that a lot of lazy (and or spammy) bloggers just lift articles from newspapers and stick them on a blogspot blog or whatever, which just adds to the frustration.

Dudes, Ubuntu Linux is giving me all kinds of geekgasm. This distro is kickin ass & takin names.
It’s so asking for a smackdown, but I cannot fail to utter the long-foretold prophecy:

The whole China-in-Africa thing is hard for me to get my head around. On the one hand, investment is the best medicine for Africa. On the other hand, well, Darfur.

I guess saying “China is footing the bill for Darfur” would be deliberately provocative, so, “China is footing the bill for Darfur.”

We’ll see, I guess.
